I point out the role of the asteroid mother goddess, Ceres, and her need for fathering support, structure and discernment. I also address the difference between gluttony, hedonism, and Epicureanism when it comes to pleasure and indulgence this summer.

The song for this week is The Indigo Girls’ “Closer to Fine” (1990) written by Emily Saliers, a Cancer (b. July 22, 1963) alongside fiery Aries Amy Ray.
It hits the sweet spot of attunement for me. I highly recommend their new documentary, It’s Only Life After All (2023). Took me right back to college - my friends and I knew every track off their first clutch of albums during that peak period of young adult life.
