New Year’s Day Satsang
Starting with spaciousness.
Winter. Reflections on the bones of Existence. Nature stripped bare, we follow her wisdom lead. You may have noticed a theme emerging in my writings of late.
Spaciousness.
Dropping roles.
Emptying.
What remains when we no longer identify with ideas about who we are? When we see through calcified postures and stances and beliefs? What arises then?
This is the realm of Timelessness. Of freedom from egoic identification, expectations, and judgement of self and others. Confusion no more.
We awaken in and as the Ground of Being, realizing that everything is a part of the Great Unfolding and our lives are a perfect, natural happening. We awaken to our true nature, to Totality, to the Absolute.
We continue to live our lives as separate individuals, while resting in the knowing that we are Life Itself.
This gives us relief from fears of an illusory future and from regrets of a conceptualized past.
We discover the courage to walk with authenticity and unshakeable inner peace.
For the past five years, I’ve been offering satsangs on non-duality and embodied liberation to a small community of awakening individuals.

Erin Reese is a guide in the living wisdom tradition of non-duality and Advaita (“not two”). Her focus is on awakening and freedom from suffering through realization of one’s true nature and peace without conditions. She offers support in embodied liberation through satsang talks, transmissions, and spiritual inquiry. Erin offers this guidance in the lineage of her late teacher Ramesh Balsekar and his final guru Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, both of Bombay, India. Erin’s book, Truth Seeker: A Spiritual Adventure of Love, Loss, and Liberation (2021), is an intimate memoir of her own existential crisis and the willingness to lose everything to gain true, lasting freedom.
