Namaste, dear Reader!
My husband Keith and I are about to leave for a monthlong pilgrimage traversing north India, west to east.
Would you like to come along in our virtual rucksack? Please do! (If you’re not following me on Instagram, I’ll surely be posting lots of photos and writing snippets there. Just include a little note that you’re from Substack as it’s a private account.)
This time, we’ll be visiting Amritsar, Varanasi, Kolkata, and the four major Buddhist pilgrimage sites of Sarnath (Buddha’s first teaching), Lumbini (birth place), Kushinagar (death place), and Bodh Gaya (enlightenment). I hope to dispatch and share with you our highlights from the road.
I’ve stopped keeping track of the number of times I’ve been to the Mother Land. I began my love affair with Ma India in 2002 and haven’t looked back. The journey continues, now with my Beloved Keith.
To celebrate, I thought I’d post a few photos and videos to whet your virtual travel appetite.
Ooh, my husband and I were just talking about taking some time in India! There are some recent events leading me toward the study of Ayurveda, and he is deepening his understanding and connection to yoga
looking forward to reading about your adventures. may your trip be surrounded by light and love.
