Literally doing a 💃. This move i made to be a dog mom is all about this energy. Why my soul and body really wanted for the long term needs to be met. And this little dog needs me to train her to feel safe when I’m gone and trust that I will return. She’s my external manifestation of what’s healing in me. You’re so so good. This was so so good. Yes! The world is my home. Because I am home on Earth.

I 100% agree that furry friends are wonderful grounding elements and assist us in retraining our nervous systems in myriad ways. So happy you have the opportunity to be "dog mom."
Usually I listen to your forecasts a few times to really absorb them, but this post surprised me with something right away.
It was the combination of community and raising a new flag that really got me going.
After I listened yesterday, I went out on a walk with a friend. I should mention I was feeling pretty low for no discernible reason.
About half way through our walk in our neighborhood, I noticed a colorful child’s beach bucket sitting by the side of the road. I meandered over to find the basket full of sidewalk chalk and a message written on the concrete driveway- ‘Please take a minute to make some art.”
Of course my friend and I both jumped in- a beautiful flower from her and a rainbow heart and thank you from me.
To say I felt 10 times better after doing that would not be an exaggeration.
I saw that if doing/planning things like this was part of fostering a community, I am all in!
The flag I am lowering is that community is created by attending long, draining parties and the one I am raising is creative and interesting ways of engaging in my community. (I do know sometimes draining gatherings may still need to be attended.) My next plan is getting some local mangoes- in season now!- and dropping them off to several neighbors next week.
