Bindi Girl is thrilled to hear this; she has grown up yet has never lost her vim and vigor. Thanks for coming on the road with me, Marcella!

Very entertaining to follow you through day one in London. Certainly not the typical "Eye" and museum experience that I had there. Gives me hope for a visit there on the local, artsy side.

Thank you, Susan! Yes, so much to do when we let our intuition guide us. I seem to have better luck that way - and more fun. I appreciate you reading and commenting!

Great article, Erin! I love that your newsletter has evolved into a bona fide magazine with different sections. I need to know why Garth hates Led Zeppelin. I don't think I've ever met anyone who hates Zeppelin! As a 70s teenager, I love that music.

Garth and I have discussed the Zeppelin issue many times. The main reason is that ambitious session musician Jimmy Page ripped off many blues artists without giving them credit until he was pressured many years later and had to. Garth considers them in very bad taste for this reason - they stole a lot of riffs off of traditional, hardworking artists. I agree, and it's horrible (the Stones did that, too, but eventually gave credit, e.g. Irma Thomas' "Time is On My Side"). I still love me the Zep and my body can't help it. Thank you for reading and commenting, Lynn!

Thank you for this, Erin. I had no idea. This is so disappointing and baffling.

Why would a band with a lead singer whose voice is so distinctive need to rip off riffs?

Yes, indeed- London is a "sea of color and a cacophony of souls." And indeed, "the joke is on the imperialists..."😂🙃And the areas around Covent Garden and Notting Hill are indeed the best to be while in London! Thank you for sharing with us your travels, Erin!

It's pretty funny when you think of it, isn't it? The colonized have symbolically and actually come home to be in the face of the original imperialists. I absolutely loved London for its diversity. Thank you for reading and commenting, Natalia.

Thanks for sharing your review of More Miles. Once Princes Amongst Men is re-published next year I might see if the publisher is interested in MMTM. And I'm glad I could give you a taste of London, Stones and blues and all! x

I love MMTM and the contribution to Americana of many layers and permutations, Garth! It's also sweet that I make a cameo but regardless. I look forward to seeing it make a splash, just like Princes Amongst Men. Always grand to see you and groove!
