Messages from the ancients (the Egyptian painting) and the wild world that we need to get our act together and honor the feminine...and one opportunity for this is in the upcoming US presidential election. Mushrooms are a great way to connect 🌿🦋☺️
I definitely resonate with this, LeAnn. And, I acknowledge your skilled and (I know) experienced way of commenting on others' creative works.
I hadn't thought of the election and this makes a lot of sense. I feel the Egypt stuff is strong, too, with the Middle East conflicts as well as the holidays coming up - flights to Egypt and all of that. Makes me reflect on the archetypal meanings of that flight to Egypt, and what the wandering tribes are about today.
Love, too, the call for a strong feminine presence (yes! sitting in the red fires) and did you notice the inner child down below in the fiery forest root of it all? And mushrooms, mushrooms... very much a connector. Thank you again.
Pretty amazing collage. Given the eclipses running through Texas, the Texan theme stood out for me. But, also, I was struck by the man on the left, the one with some sort of huge pack on his back. He seems to be the only one truly at peace (at one) with himself / his life. All the others seem to be in some stage of trying to be at peace (at one with self), but not. What stands out for you?
Wow, that's a great call with the "Texas" (Western) theme, and the eclipses. I'm going to recheck the dates on those eclipses, for sure. I thought that LeAnn's comment about the elections was notable too.
I think it's interesting that the man with the pack (who is working very hard, I might add, but as you say, at peace) does seem at peace. I like the woman in the flames/volcano up top, sort of meditating... in the fires... I can relate to that.
The man in the tree pose in the far left lower corner feels like Jesus to me.
I definitely see something growing anew out of that pyramid (the yellow flower of life, perhaps arising out of the oasis in the desert)... and the Egypt theme is strong... something about the conflict in Israel/Gaza for sure.
Buffalo is sort of kicking that woman on the horse in the rear... strong medicine.
There's more, too (like the parrots in the city), but I'll pause and come back to it.

Thank you, Ellen!
