As I learn about subconscious codependency complexes and the way they play out I realize how and why I "take things on" for the collective or other people in my immediate field. How can I be a neutral witness without running their story through my body- therefore my body believes it is "me" and I manifest symptoms that actually have nothing to do with my life. and we all are one web so this is so nuanced. How to be sovereign and interdependent?

the question "does this belong to me" for someone hyper sensitive who may not even know how they feel without someone else on their field is the first step- and likely the impetus of the spiritual journey haha.

I agree with your last point. Simply inquiring, "Does this belong to me?" is a huge step for many new to their own sensitivities.

And, with regard to the first subject on "subconscious codependency complexes," a simple pointer is to check with oneself: is there a lingering belief that one can help, fix, change the other? Remembering to allow the other *the dignity of their own experience* is key.

And yes, we are powerless and interconnected ultimately. Sometimes there is no way out from feeling the collective as we are not separate. Yet, discerning that it is not your personal agony or struggle goes a very long way toward releasing it from the body-mind, if even partially. The awareness may also help one to ride the wave more smoothly, without self-judgement, however long it lasts.

Codependency is like being in a fog that dims the clarity of inter being.

Well said! I might even say it this way: "Codependency IS a fog that dims the clarity of interbeing."
