And there is no loneliness in Being Alone, a quiet discovery that came into consciousness.

As someone uninterested in all things astro you still manage to hold my attention by writing well and perceptively. Being a writer involves plenty of time spent alone - not sure we often use such for introspection but its a wise idea to do so!

Thanks, Garth! My work has stepped away from astrology as a focus but I still use it, and the Tarot, archetypally as a portal of entry to greater working themes, just like our friends the Beats dipped into everything as food for the soul and mulch for the work. It's all good fodder. And yes, agreed - as writers we are always contemplatives - must be! Glad you're reading along and that we're connected across the pond and as always thru the musical and writerly airwaves.

Hermitude is a great word to describe this experience. You scored with this addition to the English language.

Love the hermitude. Another aspect of hermitude, the extra associated meaning, root with Hermes. associated with secrets, is moreso pointing to “universal”principles. An interesting aspect of the spiritual science of being. Universal principles are profound, at times simple and complex. They in fact are the laws of our universe but are experienced in all the aspects of our being. We are so separated from our inner and spiritual life today. We naturally must spend time to go within, experience samahdi to be within the origin of time, within the mysterious birth and death of being itself. The mystery, mystical essence of the spiritual phase pisces can connect us with. Had to share where your recent substack took me. Been studying the seven principles of Hermes this year. Thank you Erin.

I love this!!!!

Yes, I'd reflected on Hermes and hermetic, too, on this post. Such good stuff in our word friends. ⚕️

Thank you, Avalon. 💖💖💖

Thanks, Erin. This gives me a greater sense of peace and ease and acceptance with what I've been experiencing. Your post also helped me better understand the water triad. Now I see Cancer as birth, Scorpio as metamorphosis, and Pisces as transfiguration. The first two I got. But it never occurred to me how powerful the Piscean transformation process is.

Wow, beautiful synthesis Ellen. I had understood the difference between the 8th house of metamorphosis vs the dissolving of the 12th... And now the addition of Cancerian/4th birth is truly lovely. All three are massive changes, death/birth/rebirth. ❤️

Beautiful, Erin. We've been going through that mushy disassembling phase in the first part of our Mythic Body course with Josh Schrei. As you've noted, it's not specifically personal at this point...our collective ego as humanity needs this as Pluto comes into Aquarius on January 24 to bring up the collective shadows and strip us down to bare bones for our rebirth. Exciting times 🥳

Great reflection, LeAnn, regarding Pluto into Aquarius soon. Yes, the Plutonian transmogrification does appreciate the 12th house of hermitude in order to break down with a little spaciousness and privacy!

This is my favorite time of year, especially here in the PNW where I can just envelop myself in the darkness and calm of the season. I've been going through a lot of release of past relationships and versions of myself these past 5-6 years and this writing described my experience so well. Thank you 🙏🌌☯️

Beautiful, Lea. I can imagine you up in the PNW and nestling into the mother's cave... so good. I appreciate you commenting. Thank you!
